EVS ATTENDANT

Keep all areas of the property clean and clear of debris. Creates the first and lasting impression for our guests when entering and leaving our property.

  • 1.Clean and maintain all assigned areas. Such tasks may include but are not limited to:

    • All washrooms

    • Clean in between slot machines and remove unnecessary clutter.

    • Empty garbage cans.

    • Take garbage and recyclable materials to compactor.

    • Floors: Vacuum, Sweep, Mop, Shampoo, Wax, Check for spots and gum and remove accordingly

  • 2.Ability to use and work from ladders.

  • 3.Setup banquet room and other functions as directed.

  • 4.Move and/or carry supplies around the property as requested.

  • 5.Use and operate tools and equipment as trained.

  • 6.Continually monitor and observe assigned work area; correct any conditions not meeting department standards and expectations.

  • 7.Maintain standards established by the department Director.

  • 8.Perform all tasks that may be assigned in the future.

  • 9.Requires mobility through entire shift.

  • 10.Requires carrying supplies for repair and installation.

  • 11.Bending and reaching from floor level to approximately six (6) feet high.

  • 12.Requires pushing and/or pulling heavy equipment or supplies on carts/dollies upwards of two hundred (200) pounds.

  • 13.Requires working with cleaning equipment.

  • 14.Ability to lift, carry and manipulate supplies weighing approximately forty (40) pounds.

  • 15.Requires eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity.

  • 16.Ability to distinguish letters, figures and symbols.

  • 17.Ability to use basic office equipment such as computers, telephone and radio.

  • 18.Tolerates the presence and use of chemicals, cleansers and solvents.

  • 19.Communicate directly, telephonically and electronically with guests, management and staff.

  • 20.Requires normal vision and hearing range.

  • 21.Understands and complies with all company and departmental policies and procedures, job description and other instructions.

  • 22.Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Must be able to obtain & maintain an active Illinois Gaming License.
  • Ability to use and work from ladders.

  • Bending and reaching from floor level to approximately six (6) feet high.

  • Ability to be physically mobile, and stand/walk for 8 to 12-hour shifts.
  • Excellent guest service and communication skills.
  • Must be able to work in areas containing dust, varying noise and temperature levels, lighting, vibrations, crowds and air quality.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Capacity to work well with others and handle stressful situations with ease.
  • Possess effective learning skills.
  • Ascend and descend stairs and maintain equilibrium for an extended period
  • Must be able to work from a standing position and/or walking motion for extended period.
  • Capacity to work well with others.

  • Possess effective listening skills.

  • Maintain a good relationship with management and co-workers.

  • Have the ability to work in a stressful, high volume, energetic atmosphere.

  • Ability to work flexible shifts.

  • Salary Range: $15.00 per hour
