excavator mechanic

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults on heavy equipment, with a primary focus on excavators/ forklifts

• Respond to onsite machine breakdowns and carry out timely repairs to minimize equipment downtime.

• Perform servicing, repairs, and preventive maintenance on construction and material handling machinery.

• Conduct Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) on new machines within stipulated timelines to ensure compliance with specifications.

• Install and configure electrical accessories, components, and instruments based on customer requirements.

• Carry out functional testing and operational checks to ensure machines are in proper working condition prior to delivery.

• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) inspections to ensure optimal machine performance and reliability.
