Executive - Advertising Sales

We are looking for a motivated and commercially driven Advertising Sales Executive to support the growth of advertising partnerships with companies across the energy and infrastructure sectors. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work closely with industry leaders while contributing to the growth of one of India's emerging energy media brands.<\/span><\/span>

The role focuses on identifying potential advertisers, building relationships with corporate marketing and communication teams, and helping organizations leverage ENERGDIVE's media platforms to enhance their visibility and industry positioning.<\/span><\/span>

A key part of this position involves advertising sales across print and digital platforms, including magazines, website advertising, newsletters, branded content opportunities, and special editorial initiatives.<\/span><\/span>

Key Responsibilities<\/span><\/span>

  • Support advertising revenue generation across ENERGDIVE's print and digital platforms.<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Identify and reach out to prospective advertisers across the energy, infrastructure, industrial technology, consulting, EPC, and utility sectors.<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of advertising opportunities through research, outreach, networking, and referrals.<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Present ENERGDIVE's advertising solutions, media offerings, special issues, and visibility opportunities to prospective clients.<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Prepare media proposals, presentations, and advertising packages for clients.<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Conduct regular follow\-ups with prospects and existing clients to drive conversions and repeat business.<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Assist in negotiation, closure, and coordination of advertising agreements.<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with marketing, branding, communication, and business teams within client organizations.<\/span><\/span>

  • Update leads, opportunities, and client interactions in CRM systems.<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Utilize LinkedIn and other professional networking platforms for prospecting and lead generation.<\/span><\/span>

  • Coordinate with editorial, design, and marketing teams to ensure smooth execution of advertising commitments.<\/span><\/span>

  • Represent ENERGDIVE at industry conferences, exhibitions, webinars, and networking events.<\/span><\/span>

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.<\/span><\/span>

    Requirements<\/h3>

    Experience<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/h2>
    • 1\u20133 years of experience in advertising sales, media sales, business development, sponsorship sales, or client acquisition.<\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Experience in B2B media, trade publications, conferences, digital media, or marketing services will be preferred.<\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Exposure to sectors such as energy, infrastructure, power, renewables, utilities, engineering, or industrial technology is an advantage.<\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Fresh candidates with strong communication skills and a demonstrated interest in sales may also be considered.<\/span><\/span>

      • Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Zoho CRM, Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar tools.<\/span><\/span>

      • Working knowledge of LinkedIn and B2B prospecting methods.<\/span><\/span>

      • Self\-motivated with strong ownership and execution capabilities.<\/span><\/span>

      • Organized approach to lead management, follow\-ups, and reporting.<\/span><\/span>
