About the Role

The Executive, Business Development, plays a key supporting role within the Business Development & Partnership department. The position is responsible for preparing and delivering presentations, drafting business agreements, and providing administrative support to the Director. The role also includes secondary responsibilities supporting the Chairman. The successful candidate must be detail-oriented, professional, and willing to travel regionally for business engagements.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

1. Presentation Preparation and Delivery

a. Design and develop high-quality presentation slides using PowerPoint or other tools for internal and external meetings.

b. Ensure presentations are visually engaging, accurate, and aligned with the company’s branding and messaging.

c. Present materials to potential partners, clients, and stakeholders when required, with confidence and professionalism.

2. Drafting and Reviewing Agreements

a. Assistin drafting, formatting, and reviewing business agreements, MOUs, partnership proposals, and other related documents.

b. Ensure all documents are clear, legally sound, and aligned with the department’s objectives.

c. Coordinate with internal teams or external legal advisors for document finalisation when necessary.

3. Administrative Support to the Director

a. Manage scheduling, meeting coordination, and follow-ups for the Director of Business Development & Partnership.

b. Maintain organised records of departmental documents, agreements, and correspondence.

c. Assist in preparing reports, summaries, and updates for internal review or external communication.

4. Departmental Coordination

a. Support the execution of business development initiatives, including event planning, stakeholder engagement, and project tracking.

b. Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth execution of partnership activities.

Secondary Responsibilities

5. Support to Chairman

a. Assist the Chairman in preparing presentation materials for meetings, conferences, orpublic engagements.

b. Provide administrative support, including scheduling, documentation, and coordination of tasks as assigned.

6. Regional Travel Support

a. Participate in regional business trips for meetings, presentations, or partnership development.

Assist in travel planning, logistics coordination, and post-trip reporting.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Up to 1–3 years of relevant experience (fresh graduates welcome)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel); CRM knowledge is an advantage
  • Detail‑oriented, proactive, and able to handle multiple tasks
  • Confident and comfortable interacting with clients and stakeholders
