Executive Chef, Boutique Luxury Resort and Marina

A boutique luxury resort and marina located in the Bahamas is seeking an Executive Chef.

This is an intimate, all\-suite property of roughly 13 to 15 suites, situated on a restored bayfront estate just steps from the celebrated pink\-sand beach. It blends an easygoing island atmosphere with elevated service standards. On\-site amenities feature a bayview pool, a gym, pickleball, and a full\-service marina that accommodates sport\-fishing vessels and mega\-yachts. Following a renovation, the resort will reopen in mid\-November 2026, and the Executive Chef will play a central part in leading that relaunch.

The Executive Chef holds full ownership of food and beverage across two dining outlets:

  • The flagship dining operation, a rooftop venue offering fine dining alongside daily breakfast. This encompasses the complete Executive Chef remit: menu development, fine\-dining execution, breakfast service, and event and catering menus.

  • A relaxed waterfront bistro. As a licensed\-brand concept with an established menu, the emphasis here falls on inventory control, team supervision, cost discipline, and reliable execution rather than extensive menu creation.

This is a hands\-on, resident position on a small island. You will report to the General Manager and Owner. No travel is required.

Priorities for the first 90 days: confirm inventories, assess menu pricing and cost of sales, and revitalize menus to increase dinner volume. Within the first year: develop function and event packages to expand group business.
