Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Executive Chef to lead culinary operations, drive menu innovation, and uphold high standards of food quality and service at our Bistro Grill restaurant in Singapore.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure efficient service delivery and operational excellence
  • Develop and update menus aligned with the restaurant’s concept and current market trends to attract and retain customers
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and appealing presentation of all dishes served to maintain customer satisfaction
  • Manage food cost, control inventory, and oversee purchasing to optimize profitability and reduce waste
  • Lead, train, and supervise kitchen staff to enhance team performance and maintain high culinary standards
  • Ensure compliance with NEA food hygiene and workplace safety regulations to uphold legal and safety standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and operational standards in the kitchen to support a safe and efficient work environment
  • Collaborate with management on promotions and business strategies to drive restaurant growth and customer engagement

Required competencies and certifications

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Western cuisine or grill concepts
  • Proven leadership experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food costing, and inventory management
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Effective leadership and communication skills to manage and motivate kitchen staff
  • Creativity and passion for culinary excellence to innovate and maintain high food standards
