Executive - Coding Auditor
- Perform accurate outpatient surgery coding, including IVR, general surgery, infusion and injection, and radiation oncology.
- Apply APC facility coding knowledge as applicable.
- Review and complete assigned audits with accuracy, adhering strictly to SOPs.
- Meet daily/weekly production and quality benchmarks.
- Maintain and update required logs such as productivity and clarification logs.
- Communicate effectively with TL/Manager for clarifications and escalations.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OIG and internal policies at all times.
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Work independently with reliability and flexibility in a telecommuting setup.
- Identify trends, issues, and contribute to process improvements.
- Adhere strictly to all project SOPs and coding guidelines.
- Complete assigned coding and audit tasks with high accuracy and within timelines.
- Achieve both quality and productivity targets consistently.
- Follow project-specific instructions and escalation protocols.
- Maintain daily logs including productivity reports, clarification logs, and any required trackers.
- Communicate promptly and professionally with managers and team leads.
- Identify coding trends, issues, and escalate appropriately.
- Comply with HIPAA, OIG, and organizational policies.
- Support denial management or auditing activities when required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Paramedical, or related field.
- CPC or CPMA certification (mandatory).
- Minimum 3+ years of coding experience in multi-specialty outpatient surgery, IVR, infusion & injection, and radiation oncology.
- Knowledge of APC facility coding (preferred).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills and ability to work in a telecommuter setup.
- High-speed broadband connection at home with adherence to work-from-home guidelines.
