About Hope Village @ Kaki Bukit Recreation Centre

Hope Village is the new community concept at Kaki Bukit Recreation Centre (KBRC), operated by Hope Initiative Alliance. It serves as a welcoming and inclusive space for migrant workers and migrant domestic workers to rest, connect, and participate in meaningful programmes during their time off.

As one of Singapore’s key migrant worker recreation centres, Hope Village brings together community outreach, volunteer engagement, partnerships, and programmes to support the well-being, social connection, and dignity of the migrant worker community. Through regular activities, events, and collaborations with community, corporate, and public partners, Hope Village aims to create a safe and vibrant environment where migrant workers feel valued and supported.

Role Overview

The Executive / Coordinator (Engagement, Hope Village) supports the delivery of meaningful community engagement at Hope Village through partnerships, volunteer relations, outreach initiatives, membership engagement, and programmes and events. This role plays an important part in creating positive experiences for migrant workers and migrant domestic workers by ensuring engagement activities are well coordinated, inclusive, and responsive to community needs.

The role works closely with internal teams and external partners to translate engagement plans into well-executed activities on the ground, contributing to Hope Village’s mission as a vibrant and inclusive community space.

Key Responsibilities

• Support partnership and volunteer engagement activities

• Assist in community outreach to migrant workers and migrant domestic workers

• Support membership communications, engagement, and coordination

• Assist in planning and execution of programmes and events

• Coordinate logistics and liaise with internal and external stakeholders

• Maintain records, databases, and reporting for engagement activities

• Provide on-ground support during programmes and events

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in community development, social services, arts management, or related field

• Interest or experience in community engagement or social service work

• Good communication and coordination skills

• Able to work on weekends and occasional evenings for events
