Executive Coordinator (Executive Assistant to the CEO) (80255)

The Executive Coordinator provides strategic executive, administrative, and development support to Lake Region Healthcare’s CEO. The Executive Coordinator plays an extremely important role within the executive function, ensuring efficient and effective operations for our lead executive. The incumbent must be highly proactive and be able to effectively manage and exercise initiative in resolving situations that do not require the CEO’s attention. He/she must have excellent decision-making skills and a keen sense of priorities in managing requests for the CEO’s time, as well as assisting with time management for the CEO. The position is a visible extension of the lead executive and must demonstrate a commitment to the organizational philosophy of operating within a person-centered care environment.

The position serves as a strategic partner to the CEO, anticipating needs, aligning priorities, and enabling execution of organizational strategies. The Executive Coordinator is an informal leader within the organization which models professionalism, responsiveness, and accountability to drive follow-through on executive directives.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this position. The position functions as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the CEO, and will organize and coordinate executive outreach and external relations efforts and oversee special projects. The Executive Coordinator has contact with trustees, employees, medical and clinical staff, volunteers, patients, community leaders, and personnel. The incumbent has access to sensitive, confidential information and must be able to maintain those confidences and act with discretion. The Executive Coordinator must be flexible in rearranging his/her schedule as priorities necessitate. The incumbent establishes the work procedures and priorities within imposed deadlines.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Manage and optimize the CEO’s calendar, priorities, travel, and daily activities to ensure strategic and effective use of executive time.
  • Serve as a key liaison between the CEO, Board of Trustees, executive leadership, community partners, healthcare organizations, and other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate Board and executive committee meetings, including agenda development, meeting logistics, documentation, minutes, and maintenance of confidential records.
  • Prepare and oversee executive communications, reports, presentations, correspondence, and other materials while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and messaging.
  • Provide high-level administrative and operational support to the CEO by anticipating needs, resolving issues independently, improving administrative processes, and facilitating effective decision-making and organizational coordination.

Hours/Shifts
80 hours biweekly, day shifts, Monday to Friday.

Compensation
Hourly wage range of $32.69-$41.85. Please note that final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications and internal equity considerations.
