Executive, Grants Management and Fundraising Administration
Job Summary
Manage grant applications and fundraising campaigns while leading signature projects to ensure timely execution and reporting. Collaborate with internal teams, donors, and vendors to support organizational goals in the charity and non-profit sector.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate project grant applications against established criteria to ensure compliance and quality
- Present grant applications to the Board of Trustees to obtain funding approval
- Communicate grant application outcomes clearly to grantees to maintain transparency and engagement
- Monitor progress and execution of approved projects to ensure milestones and objectives are achieved
- Request and verify completed project and detailed expense reports with invoices before submitting to finance for disbursement
- Prepare and provide quarterly progress and financial reports to the Board of Trustees to support governance
- Coordinate with DMS vendors to plan fundraising campaigns aligned with organizational goals
- Engage donors and corporate partners to support and enhance fundraising initiatives
- Supply accurate fundraising campaign information to the marketing department to aid promotional efforts
- Assist the finance department in processing donations and issuing tax-deductible receipts to ensure compliance and donor satisfaction
- Lead signature projects by developing project plans, timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful implementation
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution and resolve issues promptly
- Provide administrative and coordination support to maintain project momentum and meet deadlines
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Business Administration
- Relevant professional certifications in fundraising, grant management, or project management
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant experience
- Experience in the charity, social service, or non-profit sector
