As part of our regional expansion, we are seeking an experienced and well-connected Executive Producer (Korea Market) to drive business development, strategic partnerships, content opportunities, and project delivery between Korea and Southeast Asia.
Job Description
Business Development & Market Expansion
- Lead the development of business opportunities between Korea and Southeast Asia across content production, virtual production, immersive media, events, brand partnerships, and artist engagements.
- Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with Korean brands, agencies, production houses, broadcasters, OTT platforms, government agencies, and strategic partners.
- Source and secure new projects, sponsorships, co-production opportunities, and commercial partnerships.
- Represent AP Media at industry events, business meetings, networking sessions, and market visits in Korea and the region.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary liaison between Korean clients and AP Media's regional teams.
- Manage key client relationships and oversee commercial negotiations, proposals, quotations, and project agreements.
- Liaise with agencies, government bodies, film commissions, media organisations, and corporate partners to facilitate project execution and business growth.
Executive Production & Project Leadership
- Lead projects from concept development through production and final delivery.
- Oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Provide executive oversight for virtual production, branded content, immersive media, live events, and digital content initiatives.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with client expectations.
Artist & Talent Management
- Develop and manage relationships with Korean artists, talents, influencers, entertainers, and industry representatives.
- Support talent representation, endorsements, appearances, licensing opportunities, and regional expansion initiatives.
- Facilitate talent engagements and commercial opportunities across Southeast Asia.
Creative & Content Development
- Contribute to concept development, creative proposals, and content strategies tailored for Korean and regional markets.
- Identify emerging market trends, technologies, and audience opportunities to strengthen AP Media's competitive position.
- Evaluate content, intellectual property (IP), and partnership opportunities for commercial viability.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Work closely with producers, project managers, creative teams, technical teams, and management to ensure successful project execution.
- Mentor and guide junior production personnel where required.
- Foster strong collaboration between Korean and Southeast Asian stakeholders.
Additional Duties
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities as reasonably assigned by Management in accordance with the Company's operational requirements.
Job Requirements
- Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Film, Media, Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related discipline.
- At least 8 years of experience in media, content production, entertainment, advertising, talent management, or related industries.
- Proven track record in business development, client acquisition, partnership management, or executive production.
- Strong network within the Korean media, entertainment, advertising, or creative industry is highly preferred.
- Experience working on international projects, co-productions, artist engagements, or cross-border collaborations is an advantage.
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Fluent in Korean and English, both written and spoken.
- Familiarity with virtual production, immersive media, digital content, AI content creation, or emerging media technologies is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel frequently within Korea and Southeast Asia.
- Resourceful, proactive, entrepreneurial, and results-driven with the ability to work independently.
Job Requirements

- Demonstrated production experience or a verifiable production track record (short-form content, commercial projects, or professional productions)
- Basic knowledge of the film, media, or creative industry is preferred
- Some understanding of digital marketing, interactive media, or new media platforms is an advantage
- Fundamental production knowledge or hands-on experience across pre-production, production, or post-production
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder-management skills, including engagement with clients, agencies, and government organisations
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects is a plus
- Minimum Diploma in Film & Media Studies or other relevant disciplines
