Job Description
We are looking for a Microsoft Purview DLP Engineer with 4–5 years of hands-on experience in implementing and managing Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Information Protection solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Microsoft Purview and exposure to similar DLP tools.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and manage Microsoft Purview DLP policies across Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Endpoints.
Configure and maintain sensitivity labels, data classification, and auto-labeling policies.
Monitor and investigate DLP alerts and incidents; perform remediation and tuning.
Integrate Purview with Defender for Cloud Apps, Defender for Endpoint, and SIEM tools.
Support compliance initiatives (GDPR, ISO 27001, HIPAA, etc.).
Provide L2/L3 support and collaborate with SOC, IT, and compliance teams.
Maintain documentation and support audits.
Required Skills
4–5 years of experience in DLP / Information Protection
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview DLP
Experience with Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance
Working knowledge of CASB and Endpoint DLP
PowerShell scripting (basic to intermediate)
Preferred Certifications
Microsoft SC-400 – Information Protection Administrator
SC-200 / AZ-500 (Good to have)
Good to Have
Experience with Symantec, McAfee, Forcepoint, Digital Guardian DLP
SIEM integration experience (Sentinel, Splunk, Exabeam)
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
