Experienced Jumbo Operator

Key tasks and responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate Jumbo development drills in order to mine headings and install ground support as per mine standards
- Ensuring all headings are mined to size, online and gradient.
- Ensure all ground support is installed to minimum standard or above as required.
- Undertake all tasks safely or stop the job.
- Ability to accurately markup faces to Mine plans and Memos and follow those plans.
- As senior team members you will promote a positive team culture, lead by example and mentor trainee operators.
- A minimum of 10 years underground mining experience, 5 on a Jumbo is preferred.
- Competence at installation of bolts and mesh and at boring headings, including declines.
- Proven experience operating Sandvik Jumbo Drills.
- Experience with Spiling and SDA’s advantageous
- Experience as a Loader Operator and Development Charge Up.
- Current full drivers license
- Current First Aid Certificate.

- 7 on / 7 off (day/night), 12hr shift roster
