Job Summary:

At HUB24, we’re continuing to grow and evolve our technology capabilities—and we’re keen to connect with thoughtful, security-minded engineers who are passionate about building secure, scalable, and reliable platforms.
While we may not have an immediate opening today, we anticipate upcoming opportunities across DevSecOps and Security Engineering, and we’d love to hear from talented individuals interested in being part of our journey.
These roles will play a key part in embedding security into every stage of the DevOps lifecycle, enabling fast, secure, and high-quality software delivery across our platforms.

Responsibilities:

What you’ll be involved in

  • Embedding security across the SDLC, including shift-left and secure-by-design practices
  • Automating security controls within CI/CD pipelines to support consistent and reliable delivery
  • Applying application security testing practices (SAST, DAST, SCA, container scanning)
  • Working across cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and strengthening Infrastructure as Code (IaC) security
  • Supporting threat modelling, vulnerability management, and risk mitigation
  • Implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting for security events and incidents
  • Contributing to security compliance and governance (e.g. CIS, NIST, ISO27001, PCI-DSS)
  • Partnering closely with Cyber, Platform, Engineering, and Test teams to build shared ownership of security
  • Driving continuous improvement in security practices, resilience, and operational maturity

Requirements:

What we’re looking for

  • Experience automating security controls within CI/CD workflows
  • Hands-on experience with security testing tools (SAST, DAST, SCA, container scanning)
  • Strong scripting and automation capability (e.g. Python, Bash, or similar)
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps
  • Knowledge of cloud security and modern architectures
  • Familiarity with secrets management, IAM, Zero Trust principles, and WAF
  • Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting for security events
  • Strong capability in problem-solving, risk analysis, and incident response
  • Practical experience in vulnerability management and remediation
  • Confidence working across teams and communicating technical concepts clearly

What will help you thrive

  • A security-first mindset, viewing security as an enabler rather than a blocker
  • A proactive approach—anticipating risks and addressing vulnerabilities early
  • A collaborative style, working effectively across Dev, Sec, and Ops teams
  • Curiosity and commitment to continuous learning in an evolving threat landscape
  • Adaptability in fast-paced environments with changing technologies
  • Attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality, secure outcomes
  • A sense of ownership and accountability for your work
  • A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach to problem solving

Why HUB24?

At HUB24, you’ll be part of a team that values collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. We’re committed to creating an environment where people feel supported to grow, contribute ideas, and make a meaningful impact—while working on technology that underpins better outcomes for our clients.
