F&B Executive (Hotel Banquet)

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and motivate the banquet team to ensure smooth event operations and high service standards.
  • Oversee staff on shift, ensuring proper grooming, conduct, and adherence to hotel service standards.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Manage the setup, execution, and breakdown of banquet functions in accordance with event requirements.
  • Monitor and maintain proper care and usage of equipment and function spaces.
  • Plan and manage manpower, including scheduling and requisition of casual labour when necessary.
  • Control departmental costs, including labour and breakages, to achieve operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and service standards through consistent supervision and training.
  • Address guest feedback promptly and take corrective action to maintain a high level of satisfaction.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by management in a diligent and professional manner.

Requirements

  • O-Level or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
  • Able to work independently
  • Able to work well under pressure and in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
