The F&B Hostess is responsible for welcoming guests, managing reservations and ensuring a smooth and personalized dining experience. The role provides attentive service, anticipates guest needs, and promotes the resort's hospitality standards through professional and friendly interactions.
The F&B Hostess supports efficient outlet operations by maintaining a well-organized dining environment and working closely with team members to deliver exceptional guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to all relevant SOPs and service standards to ensure consistent and exceptional guest experiences.
- Understand that work schedules and operational demands may vary according to business needs.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of resort facilities, restaurant promotions, operating hours, and services.
- Be familiar with resort room categories and locations.
- Demonstrate knowledge of local attractions, landmarks, and points of interest.
- Report for duty punctually and in accordance with the daily roster.
- Welcome and monitor guests entering the outlet, ensuring accurate guest tracking where required.
- Escort guests to their tables and offer welcome amenities, including beverages and cold towels.
- Ensure guests are attended to promptly and their dining area remains clean and well-presented.
- Assist with the cleaning and polishing of cutlery, glassware, crockery, and other outlet equipment as required.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of buffet displays and outlet stations.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of the outlet at all times.
- Remain visible on the floor, proactively anticipating and responding to guest needs.
- Ensure the safety and security of guests, colleagues, and resort property.
- Contribute to departmental quality objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; a qualification in Hospitality or Food & Beverage Service.
- Previous experience as a Hostess, Guest Relations Agent or in a customer-facing hospitality role preferred.
- Fluent in Russian and English (spoken and written), additional languages are an advantage.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and guest service skills.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude with a passion for hospitality.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in a luxury hotel, resort, or fine-dining environment is preferred.
