Role Overview
We are looking for a driven and technically capable Façade Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will contribute to the design and development of façade systems, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver quality outcomes across all project phases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and execute design tasks and project instructions from superiors, including the Design Manager and Project Manager, with a proactive and motivated approach

  • Develop and produce façade designs and technical drawings in accordance with project requirements and industry standards

  • Attend and participate in design meetings with clients and consultants to discuss requirements, present design solutions, and address technical queries

  • Apply effective and innovative design methodologies to deliver practical and efficient façade solutions

  • Prepare shop drawings, material take-offs (MTO), and cutting lists accurately and in a timely manner to support fabrication and installation works

  • Coordinate with team members and relevant parties to ensure delegated tasks are completed responsibly and on schedule

  • Support the team in maintaining design quality and consistency throughout all stages of the project

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma in a relevant discipline within the Building and Construction industry, or equivalent qualification

  • At least 3 to 5 years of local working experience in design, with hands-on experience in the façade trade strongly preferred

  • Proficient in AutoCAD for technical drafting and Revit for 3D modelling and BIM coordination

  • Experienced in preparing shop drawings, material take-off schedules, and cutting lists

  • Good understanding of façade systems, materials, and construction methodologies

  • A responsible and self-motivated team player who can work effectively under supervision and independently
