Facilitator

We are delivering a future focused skills programme for people aged 18+ with a barrier to employment. Working within our Employability division, this is a remote and outreach-based part time role. You will be an experienced facilitator working within local communities to support service users to progress into apprenticeships, employment, education and training opportunities.

We are looking for experienced facilitators that are proactive, compassionate and driven to support our goal of improving social mobility through training individuals who need extra support to access the world of work. Due to the nature of this role, knowledge and experience of the issues vulnerable people is essential.

We seek a diverse workforce and therefore are open to a range of backgrounds and experience however seek an individual who is proactive, organised and resilient to deal with the varying demands of the role.

Main Duties & Accountabilities

  • Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions, ensuring content is accessible and relevant to diverse audiences while incorporating the latest sector insights and labour market trends.
  • Stay informed on evolving recruitment practices and future workforce trends, ensuring training reflects the technical and soft skills employers value.
  • Develop and embed future-ready employability skills—including adaptability, problem-solving, collaboration, and digital literacy—into a future focused training programme.
  • Incorporate insights from emerging UK sector developments—including sustainability, digital innovation, and labour market changes—into all learning content.
  • Collaborate with the Training & Curriculum Manager to monitor and enhance programme effectiveness, using feedback to keep training dynamic, innovative, and aligned with evolving recruitment practices and career pathways. Deliver and facilitate existing training in an engaging and interactive manner

You will be working in a national team to ensure the project successfully engages young people with barriers to engagement.

  • Passion to support people in achieving their goals and experience of successfully delivering engaging training programmes for young people
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with young people and partners
  • Strong interpersonal skills. Approachable, adaptable and supportive to the range of stakeholders involved in this programme.

  • An interest in sustainability / Tech / CPD

Organisational Relationships

  • Report to the Service Manager
  • Work closely with the rest of the programme team, Comms and the wider employability division
  • Collaborate with programme delivery partners and all other external stakeholders

Salary: £28,000.00

Hours: 37 hours per week
