FACILITIES MANAGEMENT EXECUTIVE

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and smooth functioning of company-managed facilities, including office, warehouse, and worker dormitory.
  • Manage all dormitory operations, including room allocation, occupancy tracking, bedspace management, housekeeping coordination, and ensuring a safe and orderly living environment for residents.
  • Act as the main liaison with relevant authorities and regulatory bodies on dormitory-related matters, ensuring full compliance with applicable requirements, inspections, and licensing conditions.
  • Conduct regular site inspections of all facilities to ensure cleanliness, safety standards, and proper maintenance of building systems and infrastructure.
  • Coordinate and supervise all repair, maintenance, and upgrading works, working closely with contractors, vendors, and service providers to ensure timely completion and quality standards.
  • Handle dormitory residents’ feedback and operational issues, ensuring prompt resolution of disputes, maintenance requests, and welfare-related concerns.
  • Monitor and manage facility-related inventory, including housekeeping materials, maintenance tools, and consumables; ensure timely procurement and stock replenishment.
  • Maintain proper documentation, including maintenance logs, inspection records, service reports, dormitory registers, and compliance-related documentation.
  • Ensure all facilities comply with workplace safety, fire safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards, including dormitory rules and company policies.
  • Support ad-hoc facility improvement projects and administrative tasks as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma/ Nitec / Higher Nitec in Facilities Management, Building Services, Engineering, Estate Management, or a related field.
  • Location: CHANGI
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in facilities management, building maintenance, dormitory operations, property management, or estate management.
  • Prior experience managing worker dormitories, construction-related accommodations, or mixed-use facilities will be highly advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of building maintenance systems, including electrical, plumbing, air-conditioning, lighting, water systems, pest control, waste management, and general repair works.
  • Familiar with dormitory operations, statutory requirements, and compliance standards relating to worker accommodation and building safety.
  • Experience liaising with government agencies, auditors, contractors, vendors, and operational stakeholders.
  • Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple operational issues simultaneously.
  • Willing to be on-call or contactable for urgent facility and dormitory-related matters when required.
