Facility Manager

Compensation: $110K to $122K

The Site Manager is responsible for ensuring optimal operational performance of the facility. This role partners closely with maintenance personnel to ensure all work is executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with OSHA and internal standards.

The Site Manager develops and implements strategies to improve reliability, safety, and overall facility performance. Responsibilities include managing emergency response and breakdowns, overseeing time-critical repairs, and leading audits, routine maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

This position also promotes a strong preventive and predictive maintenance program through effective use of CMMS and maintains full accountability for daily operations and overall facility management.


II. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Organize and prioritize workloads to manage daily operations, emergency assignments, and special projects while ensuring all KPIs and performance objectives are achieved.

  • Manage financial activities including monthly billing, expenses, purchase orders, capital forecasting, and budget oversight.

  • Evaluate buildings, equipment, and processes to ensure compliance with company and customer standards, including audits and periodic reviews.

  • Investigate, develop, and implement process improvements and projects to reduce costs, enhance quality, and ensure compliance, leveraging technical expertise and facilities engineering knowledge.

  • Foster a positive work environment by training, mentoring, and developing associates, while maintaining strong customer relationships and open communication.

  • Promote environmental health and safety by enforcing safety practices, investigating concerns, and recommending improvements.


III. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Requirements

Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Must be 21 years of age or older.

Experience
7-10 years of experience in facilities management or related field.

Licenses/Certifications
OSHA 10-hour and/or 30-hour certification required. BOMA, IFMA, or LEED certifications are preferred.

Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret safety policies, procedures, and technical documents. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present information effectively to individuals and small groups.

Technical Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Word, and Excel required. Experience with enterprise systems and CMMS platforms is required.
