Your Opportunity at SECURE
As Facility Operator, you are responsible for the safe, efficient, and customer-focused daily operations of waste treatment, oil treatment, and water injection. This role actively contributes to standard operating procedures, hazard assessments, safety programs, and environmental protection initiatives. Given the high level of customer interaction, strong communication skills and a commitment to exceptional service are essential.
This position is located at our Keene facility.
The wage for this role starts at $28.15+, with eligibility for additional allowances.

Work Environment
This position is a 12-hour shift with 7 days on and 7 days off, alternating between days and nights.
A Day in The Life
- Responsible and accountable for the day-to-day operation of the facility
- Responsible for truck unloading, oil emulsion and water & vac trucks
- Responsible for tank treating and processing waste streams
- Participating in waste processing, waste and mud tank operation, shaker & centrifuge operations and solids treating
- Responsible and accountable for the receipt, terminal storage and transportation of crude oil while adhering to Measurement & Crude Oil Quality compliance
- Managing ongoing water injection, filter changing and pump maintenance
- Conducting treatment of solids on the waste pad
- Conducting boiler operations, testing and steam system operations
- Ensuring that all corporate compliance programs are adhered to
- Submitting truck tickets summary, daily plant checklists, and balance and transfers to the office
- Participates in the Health & Safety Management System (HSMS)
- Waste plant operation (ensuring solids processing is meeting or exceeding landfill criteria and solids testing)
- Following water injection SOP’s and best practices to protect the disposal well integrity
- General maintenance, ensure that the plant is kept clean and safe
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- A High School Diploma, General Education Diploma or equivalent
- Operational experience in waste processing, oil treating or water injection is considered a strong asset
- Specialty training in boilers, treaters, pumps (all), repairs, shaker/centrifuge and loaders is considered an asset
- Current and valid safety tickets, including H2S Alive, First Aid Level One C, Confined Space Entry, WHIMS and TDG
- A strong attention to detail, communication skills with the ability to work long hours in a mentally and physically demanding work environment
- Must be able to document their work, perform and manage cross shift communication and ensure strategic communication with multiple stakeholders
- Must be able to multi-task and demonstrate excellent decision-making skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues
- Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills and safe work practices
- A valid and acceptable Driver’s license and successful completion of Pre-employment testing
