Reports to: Facility Director | Facilities

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt | Hourly

Middleburg Heights Campus


Availability required:

  • Evenings, 4-10pm; 2-10pm Weekends
  • Monday-Friday and Weekends
  • Part-time: 18-28 hours weekly


Position Purpose

Keep the building and property in great condition for people coming to worship, serve, meet with others, and participate in various activities that happen here at Grace Church. This role requires a friendly, energetic, and self-motivated person who loves the Lord Jesus and is able to work well with others, as well as by themselves.


Main Responsibilities

  • Setting up rooms for classes and events
  • Keeping the building and grounds clean
  • Locking up after building is cleared

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Room setups for classes and events - tables, chairs, tablecloths, tech setups, etc.
  • Some easy technical and A/V setups for classrooms and special events
  • Floor cleaning - use industrial vacuums/equipment to keep hallways and classrooms clean on a regular basis
  • Regular dusting, trash removal, spot cleaning
  • Regular restroom cleaning - cleaning, mopping, restocking dispensers
  • Deep cleaning - quarterly/as necessary
  • Occasionally drive church vehicles
  • Seasonal outdoor/grounds upkeep - shoveling, salting, raking, trash pickup, etc.


Proficiencies Needed

  • Valid driver's license and good driving record
  • Ability to regularly lift 50 lbs
  • Own a working smartphone that can download apps
  • Need to be comfortable being in a large building alone
