FACILITY TECHNICIAN

Job Description

  • To carry out daily checks on facility & security equipments and fill up relevant checklists.
  • Prepare and submit daily and monthly Facility Reports.
  • Prepare and submit scheduled verification / calibration reports.
  • Monitor licenses and cleanroom certification expiry and arrange for renewal.
  • Able to draw basic conclusion from data of meter readings.
  • To carry out daily patrol of facility & security areas and report on defects and abnormalities.
  • To perform preventive maintenance on facility & security equipment as per schedule.
  • Able to carry out troubleshooting works for facility system.
  • Attend to defects and breakdowns as reported by end user.
  • To liaise and supervise servicing works performed by external service providers.
  • To maintain proper documentation of reported defects and job completion status.
  • Revise and update Work Instructions & Procedures.
  • Participate in annual budgeting exercise.
  • Participate in facilities improvement project.
  • Participate in Company’s Emergency Response team (CERT) and WSH activities.
  • To perform any other facility and/or security related work as assigned by management.
  • Comply with all Quality, Environmental, Health, Safety and Security policies and procedures of the Company.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience as facility technician in a factory/manufacturing environment
  • Nitec/Higher Nitec in Facility Management or GCE O Level
  • Basic Microsoft Office Skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Working Hours: 8:30am to 6pm (Monday to Friday)
