033966 Federal Income Tax Analyst II (Open)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Federal Income Tax Analysis II to join our dynamic tax team. The ideal candidate will be an integral part of our domestic income tax compliance team. This role will provide support for other areas such as Tax Reporting and the related Accounting for Income Taxes (ASC 740). This position offers excellent opportunity and career development for the tax professional.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare proforma federal income tax returns
  • Prepare required federal tax return statements, elections, and disclosures
  • Assist in preparation supporting documentation and workpapers for tax adjustments
  • Assist international compliance team with preparation of foreign inclusions.
  • Prepare separate state income tax returns
  • Assist in the preparation of federal income tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of tax account rollforwards and reconciliations
  • Actively seek process improvements related to compliance activities
  • Respond to tax notices as necessary
  • Perform other research and duties as assigned

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • CPA Certification Preferred
  • 3-5 years of Corporate Income Tax experience with a US multinational corporation, or Public Accounting experience is a must.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with tax preparation software, preferably Corptax.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks and meet deadlines

Compensation Range:

The pay range for this position is $71,000.00 - $121,000.00 annually. Typically, a competitive wage for new hires will fall between $90,000.00 to $100,000.00 annually. Offers for this position may vary based on market data and other factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. The position may also be eligible for a short-term incentive.
