We are looking for a

Field Application Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining a daily engineering presence and acting as a primary support for the production
    line.

  • Performing joint checks via online platforms in close collaboration with customer engineering
    teams.

  • Rapid analysis of technical issues arising during production, developing effective solutions,
    and coordinating technical communication between the production line and the customer.

  • Active participation in joint projects with other Valeo sites worldwide, including occasional support for testing processes via remote access.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering skills (Electrical, Mechatronics, Software or similar)

  • Fluent English: self confident technical communication skill both verbal and written (essential for daily international communication)

  • Fundamental knowledge of telematics (GPS, 4G/5G network technologies) is advantage.

  • Prior experience in the automotive industry is considered an advantage.

  • Familarity with the ISO14220 Diagnostic standard.

  • Excellent situational problem-solving skills, quick decision-making abilities, and a result-oriented mindset to ensure production deadlines are met.

  • Analytical thinking with a keen eye for connecting the dots, finding associations across complex data, and spotting irregularities.

  • An engineer's intuition to navigate gaps in information.
