Field Installation Superintendent

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Field Installation Superintendent based in the United States.

This role places you at the center of complex installation projects across a variety of industrial environments. You will lead field teams responsible for delivering high-quality installations from start to finish. Every project requires careful coordination of people, materials, schedules, and safety standards. You will act as the key on-site leader, ensuring execution aligns with technical requirements and customer expectations. The environment is fast-moving and highly varied, requiring strong problem-solving and adaptability. Success in this role means driving progress in the field while keeping quality, safety, and efficiency consistently high. You will collaborate closely with multiple stakeholders while maintaining full ownership of day-to-day site operations.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead daily on-site installation activities, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and aligned with quality standards.
  • Coordinate construction and installation planning, sequencing tasks and managing resources across diverse projects.
  • Supervise and support installation crews and subcontractors, fostering productivity, accountability, and safety compliance.
  • Serve as the primary on-site liaison for customers, contractors, engineers, and project stakeholders.
  • Interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents to ensure accurate execution of installation work.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks or delays, and implement solutions to maintain momentum.
  • Conduct site inspections and enforce adherence to safety regulations, quality requirements, and company procedures.
  • Requirements:

    • Associate degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field, plus 5+ years of construction or field installation experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
    • 1–2 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role within construction or field operations.
    • Strong understanding of OSHA standards, construction site safety practices, and industry regulations.
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications with accuracy.
    • Proven leadership skills with experience coordinating teams and subcontractors in fast-paced environments.
    • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities with sound decision-making under pressure.
    • Willingness and ability to travel extensively (approximately 70%) across North America.
