Field Network Engineer
Key Responsibilities:<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span>
<\/h3>Carry out <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>on\-site installation<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span> of internet services, routers, modems, fiber ONT/ONU devices, and other telecom equipment.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/p><\/li>Diagnose and resolve <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>technical faults<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span> in broadband, leased line, or fiber connectivity at customer premises.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/p><\/li>Perform <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>fiber splicing<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span>, signal testing, and basic network configuration for enterprise and home users.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/p><\/li>Coordinate with backend NOC (Network Operations Center) to resolve escalated field issues and ensure service uptime.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/p><\/li>Document service calls, installations, fault resolutions, and customer sign\-offs daily.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/p><\/li>Conduct <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>preventive maintenance<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span> checks and audits of field assets and junction boxes (FDPs, OFC routes).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/p><\/li>Educate end\-users on device handling, safety, and simple troubleshooting techniques.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/p><\/li>Adhere to SLA timelines for fault resolution and installation, maintaining customer satisfaction.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

<\/p><\/li>Experience:<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span> 0\u20133 years in field service roles in ISP/telecom sector preferred.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/p><\/li>Hands\-on experience in using tools like OTDR, splicing machines, and signal testers (preferred).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
