Field Serivce Engineer
Our install base in Korea is expanding, and we are now strengthening the Korea Field Service team. In this position, you work hands-on with our multi-beam mask writers, carrying out preventive- and break-down maintenance. After an intensive training period of several months, you will work with our technology at the most advanced companies in the semiconductor industry. We cover sites in Giheung, Cheongju and Pyeongtaek.
Responsibilities:
- You perform planned as well as unplanned service maintenance tasks on our high-tech machines at customer sites across Korea
- You perform troubleshooting and solution finding of system problems
- You administrate spare parts management in our ERP system
- You write reports of your tasks and activities
- You support international installation teams during new tool installations
- You occasionally support or lead task forces and other collaborations in cross-functional teams, together with our customers
- You have relevant technical education
- You work in a careful, detailed and structured manner
- You have strong quality awareness and problem-solving skills
- You have strong communication and social skills as well as extraordinary service orientation and intercultural competence
- You have good knowledge of vacuum systems, electronics and/or mechanics
- You have a very good knowledge of English, writing and speaking, and fluency in Korean.
- Hands-on engineering experience and experience from working with customers in the Korean semiconductor industry is considered highly advantageous
- Safety education and/or certification is a plus
