Field Service Engineer (PCB & Software)

Job Summary
We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Field Service Engineers with PCB and software experience. This role involves providing customer support, installation, repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of AEM equipment and systems. You will work closely with internal teams and customers to ensure high-quality service delivery in accordance with company and customer standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform installation, modification, repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of equipment and systems to ensure operational reliability
- Deliver on-site customer support to resolve technical issues and maintain high customer satisfaction
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with company and customer site safety standards
- Obtain and maintain required equipment service and operational certifications as assigned
- Prepare and submit detailed service reports, status updates, and maintenance documentation promptly
- Accurately document service activities and support records for traceability and quality assurance
- Adapt to changing operational priorities and complete assigned administrative duties efficiently
- Work safely in cleanroom environments while wearing full personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
- Conduct PCB-related troubleshooting and software-based system diagnostics to support equipment functionality
Work Assignments
- Operate at assigned sites, regions, or product lines based on business needs
- Follow work schedules that may include shifts, weekends, night shifts, or compressed work weeks
- Be available for on-call duties and domestic or international travel up to 95%, depending on assignment
Required competencies and certifications
- Ability to work independently in a field service environment
- Physical fitness to lift up to 50 lbs, work in confined spaces, and climb ladders as needed
- Proficiency in PC usage and Windows-based applications
- Successful completion of required background screening
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience preferred; fresh graduates with strong PCB and software knowledge are welcome
- Experience or exposure in PCB troubleshooting and software-based systems
- Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken)
- Demonstrated troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work in cleanroom environments while wearing full PPE
