Field Service Engineer (Zone Guadalajara)
We're looking for a detail-oriented and efficient Field Service Engineer to join our team in the Guadalajara zone. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional on-site technical support and maintenance services to our valued customers throughout the region. As a Field Service Engineer, you will combine technical expertise with strong customer service skills to ensure optimal equipment performance and customer satisfaction.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and systems at customer locations throughout the Guadalajara zone
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections to ensure equipment operates at peak performance
- Respond promptly to service calls and emergency requests, prioritizing issues based on severity
- Document all service activities, repairs, and customer interactions in detail using service management software
- Provide clear technical explanations to customers and offer recommendations for equipment optimization
- Collaborate with the technical support team to resolve complex issues and escalate problems when necessary
- Maintain accurate records of parts inventory and submit timely reports on service completion
- Travel efficiently within the assigned zone to meet scheduled appointments and service commitments
- Adhere to safety protocols and company procedures during all field service activities
- Contribute to continuous improvement by providing feedback on equipment performance and customer needs
- Proven experience in field service, equipment maintenance, or technical repair work
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with the ability to analyze complex technical problems
- Proficiency in using service management software and mobile devices for documentation and reporting
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage multiple service calls efficiently
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the Guadalajara zone
- Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions in the field
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate service records
- Bilingual capabilities in Spanish and English (preferred)
- Knowledge of relevant industry equipment and systems (preferred)
- Certification in equipment maintenance or technical service (preferred)
