As an LWD/DD Field Specialist, you will run the operations of drilling sites using the latest technology. You will have access to innovative equipment to effectively monitor our well sites. You will troubleshoot problems and act quickly to ensure efficiency is maintained for our customers.
As a Field Specialist III – LWD/DD, you will be responsible for:
Developing and demonstrating proficiency for delivery of Logging while Drilling & Directional Drilling services at the well site.
Working in difficult drilling and logging environments to provide complex solutions to Customer and manage drilling well trajectories as per design.
Solving often complex drilling problems, by monitoring, analysing and evaluating incidents using logging and drilling data
Utilizing broad knowledge of the product line's tool(s) and/or service for data analysis when required.
Maintaining and testing of tools and equipment used for Logging while Drilling and/or Directional Drilling activities.
Demonstrate experience of leading, mentoring and motivating teams in a technical environment
Conducting all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance, and Baker Hughes Core Values.
Executing other related duties as assigned.
Supporting incident investigations; troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment problems
To be successful in this role you will:
Be able to demonstrate good hands-on knowledge and experience with Measurement/Logging While Drilling (MWD/LWD) tools, rotary steerable systems (RSS) and downhole motors.
Preferably have an understanding of telemetry systems and have attended DD Academy and MWD Academy.
Be an experienced problem solver, with a methodical approach to solving complex customer issues
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills under pressure.
Be willing to gain industry experience and undergo product line training
Good communication skills
fluent in oral and written English
Ability to work independently
Minimum 3+ years of Industry Experience
