Field Specialist III - Wireline
Job Overview:
The Field Specialist III – Wireline is responsible for executing wireline operations at the well site, supporting safe and efficient intervention, data acquisition, and well integrity activities. The role applies solid technical knowledge of wireline equipment and services to ensure high-quality service delivery and operational performance.
As a key member of the field team, the Field Specialist III – Wireline supports senior specialists/engineers, contributes to troubleshooting, and interfaces with the client while assisting in supervising field crews and ensuring compliance with company and industry standards.
Responsibilities:
- Execute wireline operations including rig-up, testing, and job execution for electric line services.
- Operate and maintain wireline units, pressure control equipment, logging tools, and intervention systems.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and escalate complex technical problems when required.
- Participates in all daily operations & safety meetings, toolbox, Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), and reports any issues promptly using the appropriate tools
- Maintains equipment, facilities and work area in a presentable and safe working conditions
- Ensure all job documentation, logs, and service reports are completed accurately and submitted on time.
- Demonstrates knowledge & skills to perform work processes according to their role level experience & competence
- Performs job planning, preparation of tools & equipment, mobilization, job execution and submits all job-related data, not limited to job reports, WPTS data entry, observation cards while on-site, service tickets or logs with the required signatory, and any other documents required to successfully invoice the client within an acceptable time.
- Available on 24 hours call basis to respond to customer needs.
- Tests, operates & maintains tools & equipment as per work instructions, according to policies & procedures in safe and presentable working conditions against their level of training & competence
- Develops and maintains a positive relationship with clients to ensure repeat business
- Fully responsible for delivering superior Service Quality to the client
- Effectively manage inventory and supplies required at the well site
- Follows up failures with the R&M team and ensures failure reports are closed with clients
- Contribute, participate or lead equipment failure investigations that support Root Cause Analysis reports
- Where the level of the role requires, oversees, leads and mentors Field Operation crew members
- Performs other duties and activities safely as assigned by the supervisor within physical constraints of the job
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-2 years of wireline experience
- Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline
- Driving license B is advantage
- Work flexible schedule, including long and/or irregular hours
- Must be available on 24-hour call
- Upper-intermediate English proficiency
- Completed military service compulsory is advantage
Skills:
- Good technical knowledge of wireline operations
- Ability to operate and maintain wireline units and associated tools
- Basic ability to interpret logging data and operational parameters
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure
