Finance Assistant
Who will you work with?
Joining the Finance Team, you will work alongside exceptionally talented, driven, and committed professionals focused on delivering financial excellence and continuous process improvement.
In this rol, you will support the Accounts Receivables in Brazil, working closely with customer services and commercial teams, controlling past due, application, disputes. You will also collaborate daily with the broader finance tema, providing visibility and insights of receivables.
How will you make a difference?
As part of the Finance Team, you will play a key role in enabling financial visibility and cost control for the Engineering Center. You will act as a business partner to different stakeholders, supporting decision-making and ensuring accuracy across financial processes.
This position offers high exposure, allowing you to interact with cross-functional and international teams while strengthening your financial, analytical, and process improvement skills.
What do we want to know about you?
- Previous experience in Accounts Receivable or related areas.
- Advanced English (daily interaction with international stakeholders and customers).
- Power BI is a strong plus.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical skills, organization, communication, and negotiation abilities.
Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields.
What will your daily life be like?
- Manage and monitor the accounts receivable portfolio for the LatAm region (~3,000 invoices/month), driving reduction of overdue balances and improving cash flow.
- Proactively follow up on past-due invoices, working closely with customers and internal teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Prepare and deliver periodic reports (aging, collections performance, dispute tracking) to Commercial and Customer Service teams to support decision-making.
- Organize and lead cross-functional meetings (Commercial, Customer Service, Logistics, Finance) to identify and resolve invoice discrepancies (returns, discounts, billing errors, etc.).
- Partner with third-party providers responsible for bank reconciliation to ensure accurate identification and application of cash receipts.
- Communicate with customers to obtain payment details, remittances, and resolve outstanding issues.
- Ensure accurate and timely cash application, maintaining integrity of customer accounts and balances.
- Analyze root causes of delays in collections and propose process improvements to prevent recurrence.
- Support automation and continuous improvement initiatives within the Accounts Receivable function.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, financial controls, and audit requirements.
