Finance Director
Job Responsibilities
1. Financial Strategy and Governance
- Develop and implement the Company's financial strategy aligned with corporate objectives and growth plans.
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management across Singapore and regional operations.
- Establish and maintain effective financial controls, governance frameworks, and risk management processes.
- Oversee the preparation and review of consolidated financial statements and management reports.
2. Tax Compliance and Tax Planning
- Ensure compliance with Singapore tax regulations and applicable international tax requirements.
- Lead corporate tax planning initiatives and optimize the Group's global tax structure.
- Manage transfer pricing policies and related-party transactions in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor tax developments and assess their impact on business operations.
3. Treasury and Capital Management
- Oversee treasury operations, cash flow management, banking relationships, and liquidity planning.
- Manage multi-currency funding, foreign exchange exposure, and financial risk mitigation strategies.
- Optimize capital structure and financing arrangements to support business expansion and operational efficiency.
- Lead cash pooling and regional treasury initiatives where applicable.
4. Corporate Finance and Investor Relations
- Support fundraising, financing, mergers and acquisitions, investments, and other strategic transactions.
- Lead financial due diligence, valuation analysis, and transaction execution.
- Coordinate external audits, statutory reporting, and stakeholder communications.
- Support investor relations activities and reporting requirements, including interactions with shareholders and external stakeholders.
5. Team Leadership and Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Build, lead, and develop high-performing finance, tax, treasury, and financial planning teams.
- Establish talent development and succession planning initiatives within the finance function.
- Partner closely with business, legal, operations, procurement, and compliance teams to support organizational objectives.
- Drive process improvement, automation, and finance transformation initiatives.
6. Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, statutory requirements, and corporate governance practices.
- Strengthen enterprise-wide financial risk management and internal control frameworks.
- Manage relationships with regulators, auditors, tax authorities, and professional advisors.
- Provide strategic financial advice to senior management on business and investment decisions.
Job Requirement
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CA, CFA) preferred.
- 5+ years of finance experience with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, treasury, tax, budgeting, and compliance.
- Regional finance management experience preferred.
- Experience in corporate finance, fundraising, M&A, or investor relations is advantageous.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in ICT, telecommunications, technology, or data centre industries is a plus.
