Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Executive to support financial operations within our logistics business. The role involves managing accounting functions related to freight operations and financial reporting to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Process and record daily financial transactions, focusing on accounts receivable and assisting with accounts payable to maintain accurate financial records
• Manage accounts receivable by monitoring customer payments and ensuring timely collections to optimize cash flow
• Assist in preparing payments and performing bank reconciliations to maintain accurate cash balances
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements by reviewing financial data and processes
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and responding to audit inquiries
• Collaborate with internal teams including operations, procurement, and sales to verify and reconcile financial data for accuracy
• Manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality
• Support ad hoc financial tasks and projects as required to contribute to overall business operations

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Experience in logistics or supply chain industry and familiarity with CargoWise software is advantageous
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel to analyze and manage financial data effectively
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
