Finance Executive (Construction Industry)

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements aligned with project and corporate requirements.

  • Budget management: Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and highlight variances to management.

  • Cost control: Implement cost-saving measures, analyze project costing, and ensure financial efficiency.

  • Accounts payable & receivable: Process invoices, manage supplier payments, and follow up on client collections.

  • Payroll support: Assist HR in payroll processing, overtime calculations, and CPF contributions.

  • Compliance & audit: Ensure adherence to MOM, IRAS, and BCA regulations; support internal and external audits.

  • Project finance support: Work closely with project managers to align financial planning with construction timelines.

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of contracts, purchase orders, and payment schedules.

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.

  • 2–5 years of experience in finance, preferably within construction or manufacturing.

  • Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Info Tech, QuickBooks) and MS Excel.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Knowledge of Singapore financial regulations (IRAS, CPF, GST).
