AXIS Capital – Undergraduate Internship (12 months)

Eligible Students: 3rd‑year undergraduates studying Finance, Economics, Business, Actuarial Science, Data Analytics, or related fields

Purpose of Role

The AXIS Undergraduate Finance Internship is designed to give students meaningful exposure to the Finance functional areas whilst also expanding their knowledge of the specialty insurance and reinsurance sector.

This is AXIS’s first year introducing a formal programme, and successful interns will help shape the model for future cohorts.

Key Responsibilities

The intern will:

  • Be assigned cross function responsibilities spanning:
    • Global Shared Services – Close & Control (Ledger Close, Balance Sheet reviews and Analytics)
    • European Financial Reporting (internal & regulatory)
    • Project work as required
  • Supporting the management of the offshore relationship in respect of activities supporting the Accounting & European reporting team
