Financial Accounting Advisory Specialist
Job Description:
The Financial Accounting Advisory Specialist will serve as a member of the Functional Team and will support the client's audit readiness goals, including internal controls and substantive testing and performing audit response procedures. The team member will be required to gain a working knowledge of federal financial reporting, business processes, government property management, internal controls and OMB A-123, and financial management systems in support of our clients' efforts to produce auditable financial statements.

Minimum Qualifications :
- Minimum 4 years of experience in one or more of the following capabilities: audit readiness or property management
- Minimum 2 years of Federal Government Accounting and/or Auditing experience
- Minimum 2 years of DLA/Working Capital Fund (WCF) Inventory experience
- Minimum 2 years experience with MS Office applications (specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
Preferred Requirements:
- DOD / DON FIAR experience
- Understanding of asset management accounting / audit related to GPP&E, Inventory & Related Property
- CDFM, CGFM and/or CPA
