We are looking for a driven, reliable, and ambitious individual to join our team as a Financial Adviser. In this position, you will support individuals, families, and business owners by guiding them through their financial planning journey. You will assess clients’ financial situations, identify areas requiring protection, and provide customised solutions across life insurance, savings, healthcare, and investment products based on their needs.

Key Responsibilities

Client Advisory & Needs Analysis: Conduct comprehensive financial consultations to understand clients’ financial positions, including assets, commitments, income, expenses, and risk profiles.

Portfolio Structuring: Develop personalised strategies for wealth protection, wealth growth, retirement planning, and legacy preparation using suitable insurance solutions and investment products.

Business Development: Build new business opportunities through networking activities, marketing initiatives, events, and client referral channels.

Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong client partnerships through ongoing engagement, regular reviews, and adjustments to financial plans based on changing circumstances.

Compliance & Integrity: Ensure proper documentation is maintained and all advisory practices follow Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) guidelines and internal compliance standards.

Job Requirements (Absolute Minimums)

To comply with MAS regulations and internal governance requirements for registration as an Appointed Representative, all candidates must meet the following criteria:

1. Age & Nationality

Minimum Age: Must be at least 21 years old (regulatory requirement).
Citizenship: Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident (SPR).

2. Minimum Academic Qualifications

Applicants must possess at least one of the following qualifications (as required under MAS Notice FAA-N13):

  • A full GCE ‘A’ Level certificate (passes in at least 3 H2 and 2 H1 subjects).
  • An International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma.
  • A Diploma awarded by a local polytechnic in Singapore.
  • A University Degree or higher qualification in any discipline. (Note: Applicants holding qualifications from overseas institutions must provide documentation proving local equivalence).

3. Training, Examination & Licensing Framework

A structured onboarding and licensing programme will be provided to successful candidates. Previous financial industry experience is not necessary, as comprehensive sponsored training will be provided to help you complete the required regulatory qualifications:

Phase 1: Pre-Contract Licensing (Weeks 1–4) Participate in sponsored learning programmes and examination preparation sessions to complete the required Singapore College of Insurance (SCI) regulatory papers covering financial advisory regulations, wealth protection, and collective investment schemes.

Phase 2: Product & Practical Sales Competency (Post-Exams) After completing regulatory requirements, you will undergo structured internal training covering product knowledge, financial analysis, solution design, and practical client advisory skills.

(Note: Candidates who already hold valid and active regulatory certification passes will bypass Phase 1 and be fast-tracked for immediate market appointment).

4. Personal Attributes

  • Clear credit and financial history, with a clean record free from bankruptcy, criminal background, or regulatory disciplinary actions.
