At Foodies, our Finance team is evolving. We're building a modern Performance & Planning function that delivers deeper insights and better decision making across the Co-op.
Te Tūranga – About the role
We’re looking for a Financial Analyst – Performance & Planning to support forecasting, reporting and analysis across Foodstuffs North Island.
This is a fantastic opportunity to build your career, working alongside Senior Financial Analysts and Finance Business Partners while developing strong analytical and commercial skills while building experience across planning, reporting and financial performance management.
What you’ll be doing
- Support budgeting, forecasting and long-term strategic planning processes
- Deliver analysis across performance, trends, risks and opportunities
- Prepare management reporting and dashboards, explicit focus on data integrity and quality of reporting outputs
- Maintain and improve forecasting models and planning tools
- Partner with stakeholders to provide financial and operational insight, recommendations and actions
- Contribute to improving reporting through data, automation and AI
He kōrero mōu – About you
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g., Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting or similar)
- 2-4 years’ experience in finance, FP&A or commercial analysis roles within a large corporate environment
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Strong systems knowledge in SAP and TM1would be highly desirable
- Good communication and stakeholder relationship skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail to establish and maintain credibility of information
- Demonstrated curiosity and continuous improvement mindset
