PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure adherence to Toll accounting policies and other generally accepted accounting standards.
- Responsible for all aspects of Fixed Assets
- Capitalising / Transfer / Disposals.
- Maintaining FA register.
- Monthly reconciliations Depreciation / POSA & LOSA / Balance sheets
- Monthly Additional Disclosure Pack (ADP) completion.
- Tax – Half Year & Full year analysis and completion into Tax pack (OneSource).
- Issuing / actioning changes for Yearly Asset stocktake.
- Providing adhoc reports to BU’s as requested.
- Complete monthly Balance sheet reconciliations across all Global Logistics BU’s on
- Employee Provisions (Annual Leave / LSL / RDO)
- Payroll Tax
- Workers Compensation Reimbursements
- Trade Debtors & Trade Creditors.
- FTC
- Fuel
- Bulk fuel stock
- Complete monthly FTC data file preparation / submission
- Complete weekly / monthly journal posting for Fuel
- IFRS16 – create and post monthly Lease journal from Prolease
- Complete monthly Balance sheet reconciliations across all Global Logistics BU’s on IFRS
- Create / Modify / Close projects for IT as requested.
- Complete Intercompany settlements for Global Logistic BU’s by creating and posting journal mid and end of month.
- Create and issue Intercompany report at end of month.
- Complete monthly Intercompany confirmations.
- Complete & submit ABS surveys, Quarterly / Half Yearly / Full Year.
- Create Equipment stock Items as requested.
- Create & issue FX rates file WD -5 and WD 1.
- Produce reports and complete monthly PAYG information for Tax.
OHS RESPONSIBILITIES
- Comply with Toll's occupational health and safety policies and legislative OHS requirements.
- Maintain a positive workplace safety culture, including leading, promoting and participating in occupational health and safety activities within the function.
- Ensure the safety of team members, and ensure OHS awareness and practices are well understood and applied.
PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT AND CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
- Ensure the agreed General Accounting operating level agreements (OLA) and key performance indicators (KPI) targets are met.
- Ensure role is executed in line with approved Toll policies and standards.
- Maintain a continuous improvement mindset by identifying better ways of working
SKILLS ESSENTIAL TO THE POSITION
Professional Qualification (part qualified) or qualified by experience
- Good Financial Accounting track-record.
- Ability to play a hands-on role in financial/management reporting as required.
- Good knowledge and understanding of accounting standards and principles.
- Experience with general ledger accounting processes and information systems.
- Good project accounting experience.
- Good computer skills - Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite – advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to speak Thai is an advantage.

- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Secondary : VCE/HSC or equivalent
- Tertiary : Degree or Diploma in Accounting/Finance or relevant field (an advantage)
Professional:
- 2+ years of practical accounting experience
- ERP experience a plus
- Industry or Shared Services experience an advantage
