JobDuties
FinancialReporting, Accounting, Tax and Treasury
- Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual financial close and reporting processes for all SBR APAC entities and subsidiaries
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements
- Ensuring that all reporting deadlines are met
- Ensuring compliance with group accounting policies and FRS; compliance with local statutory, tax and regulatory requirements across all APAC jurisdictions
- Responsible for liaison with financial auditors, tax agent and corporate secretary
- Ensure efficient and effective operation of accounting processes, compliance and internal controls
- Manage treasury and cash management activities, including banking relationships
- Provide HQ with requested financial information on a timely basis
- Identify and recommend process improvements and automation initiatives
- Manage accounting team responsible for AR, AP and GL functions across various entities
- Manage finance-related service providers
- Responsible for regional tax matters
- Responsible for A/R follow-ups
- Management of associate investments from an information submission perspective
FP&A
- Lead and perform annual budgeting exercises, including liaison and budget review for subsidiaries
- Prepare monthly rolling forecasts and cashflow projections
- Monthly consolidated management reporting of results and KPIs, with analysis of key variances
- Business partnering - Support management in strategic planning and decision-making. Provide financial insights to business leaders. Partner with regional and global stakeholders to ensure alignment of financial objectives and reporting requirements
- Support board and management reporting
- Undertake ad-hoc special projects
- Budget control – Expense approver; performpre-approval financial control for trading activities
- Manage product margin sheets.Support pricing, profitability and margin improvement initiatives
JobRequirements
- Degree in Accountancy
- Qualified CA / CPA with at least 8years of relevant working experience from a combination of both commercial andBig-4 accounting firms
- Experience managing financial operations in an MNC, across multiple APAC jurisdictions in a similar capacity
- Excellent communication and presentation skills. Fluent in English (oral and written)
- Strong technical knowledge, including FRS
- Proficient in MS Excel
- Experience with SAPByDesign and Quickbooks accounting software
- Experience driving finance process improvements or digital transformation projects
- Able to work under pressure and tight reporting deadlines
- Team player
- Self-starter, hands-on approach with good leadership skills
