Role Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Controller / Financial Reporting Specialist to join the head office finance team. The role will focus on financial reporting, financial analysis, advanced Excel modelling, and supporting strategic decision-making, with exposure to a contracting/construction environment preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver accurate and timely financial reports for management
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance financial reporting templates, dashboards, and frameworks
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide actionable insights to support business performance
  • Perform data extraction and analysis from ERP systems (e.g., Oracle or similar)
  • Build and maintain financial models using Excel to support forecasting and decision-making
  • Review and validate financial models and assumptions for accuracy and consistency
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and reporting best practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial visibility and reporting accuracy
  • Support automation and enhancement of reporting processes (including data-driven / AI-supported reporting tools where applicable)
  • Support audits and ensure adherence to internal controls and procedures
  • 5+ years of experience in finance, financial reporting, or controlling roles
  • Strong experience in financial analysis and management reporting
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling (must be strong)
  • ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, or similar)
  • Data extraction and reporting tools
