Financial Planning and Analysis Manager
Position Summary
The FP&A Manager will support over $100MM in Global ER&D fixed cost and capital expenditure investments across EMEA. Based in the Pune, India Engineering Hub, this role will partner closely with ER&D leadership, Business Unit Finance, and over 30 regional controllers to drive financial performance, forecasting accuracy, and strategic investment decisions as an individual contributor.
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Global ER&D Fixed Cost and Capex (U.S.-based), this role will act as a key finance business partner responsible for delivering data-driven insights, improving financial processes, and enhancing visibility into ER&D spending and capital allocation.
Responsibilities
- Own forecasting and financial planning processes for ER&D fixed cost and CapEx across the EMEA region, ensuring high accuracy and consistency
- Develop and maintain rolling forecasts, budgets, and long-range plans aligned with corporate and functional targets
- Analyze variances between actuals, forecast, and prior outlooks, highlighting risks and opportunities with actionable insights
- Drive standardization and continuous improvement of FP&A processes, reporting, and tools to enhance efficiency and transparency
- Partner with Business Unit Finance teams to ensure alignment between ER&D investments and BU financial priorities
- Collaborate with a network of 30+ EMEA Controllers to coordinate allocations, reporting, and financial governance
- Support development of business cases for new investments, including capital projects, headcount, and strategic initiatives
- Build financial models to support scenario analysis, cost optimization, and decision-making
- Deliver executive-ready reporting, dashboards, and presentations for leadership review (e.g., MBRs, forecasts, CapEx updates)
- Act as a finance business partner to ER&D leadership, providing insights on cost drivers, investment trade-offs, and operational efficiency
- Support global allocation methodologies and ensure accurate cost distribution across regions and business units
- Ensure compliance with internal financial policies, controls, and reporting requirements
Qualifications
- 8–12 years of progressive experience in FP&A or Finance, supporting global organizations (minimum 6 years for high-potential candidates)
- Exposure to complex, cross-regional financial environments (EMEA/Global preferred)
- Chartered Accountant (CA) and/or MBA strongly preferred
- Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and statistical analysis skills
- Experience supporting capital planning and business case development
- Proven ability to partner with senior stakeholders and influence decision-making
- Strong communication skills with fluency in English (written and verbal)
- Experience working in a matrixed/global organization with multiple stakeholders
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial systems, and reporting tools (e.g., Oracle ERP, Oracle EPM, VBA, Power BI or similar)
- High attention to detail with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights
