Responsibilities:

  • Conduct primary research from industry sources.

  • Market research, valuation and data analysis and interpretation of financial reports.

  • Recommend changes and improvements based on research findings.

  • Develop and write research reports and publications to be presented to management.

  • Coordination with investee companies.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial services industry happenings and current events.

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

  • Accountable and committed to team goals.

  • Performing ad hoc reporting, agreements and analysis and other duties as assigned.


Requirements

To be eligible for this position, the candidate must have a reliable internet connection at home, including a backup for power outages. Additionally, they should possess a personal laptop for work purposes.It is crucial that the candidates are self-motivated and comfortable working from home (WFH). Any work gaps should not exceed 2-3 months.

  • CFAs are preferred, although candidates with a Master’s Degree are accepted as well.

  • Ability to communicate effectively and express complex ideas succinctly.

  • Ability to take initiative and meet deadlines under minimal supervision.

  • Ability to work under pressure.

  • experience in the research of the US/Global Equities market is an asset.

  • Strong proficiency in MS Office, Excel, Word is required.

  • 2+ years of experience in the same field.
