  • Examines patients and treats\ninjuries within the scope of training and/or refers patients to appropriate\npractitioner or clinic or arranges for transport to local hospital.<\/span><\/span><\/b>

  • Provides standard first aid\ntreatment for injuries not considered serious, which may include cleaning\ninjured areas and applying antiseptic, salves, ointments, or bandages.<\/span><\/span><\/b>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Maintains required records and\ndocumentation including log of injuries and occupational illnesses requiring\nfirst aid treatment.<\/span><\/span><\/b>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Maintains adequate inventory of\nfirst aid supplies; requests additional supplies when needed.<\/span><\/span><\/b>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Maintains neat and tidy first aid\nroom.<\/span><\/span><\/b>
