FIX Client Onboarding

Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day support for FIX Protocol connectivity and trading applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, connectivity incidents, and client-reported problems in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with clients, business users, and internal technology teams to investigate and resolve trading and messaging-related issues.
  • Monitor system performance, analyze logs, and perform root cause analysis for application and connectivity incidents.
  • Support onboarding, testing, certification, and configuration of client FIX connections.
  • Participate in project implementations, system enhancements, and production releases while ensuring delivery within tight timelines.
  • Perform Unix/Linux-based system checks, troubleshooting, and operational support activities.
  • Document incidents, procedures, and technical solutions to support knowledge sharing and operational excellence.

Job Description:

  • Good understanding of FIX Protocol 4.2 / 4.4
  • Experience in client-facing interactions and business stakeholder management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to learn quickly
  • Experience working on projects with tight deadlines
  • Good working knowledge of Unix/Linux environments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of trading workflows is an added advantage
