Group 1 Toyota Southwest Houston is rapidly growing and seeking production-driven Flat-Rate (Flag) Technicians to join the team! If you have at least six months of flagged production experience, hold ASE and/or manufacturer certifications, and are motivated by efficiency, quality workmanship, and strong earning potential, this is an excellent opportunity to join a high-volume shop and accelerate your career.Group 1 Toyota Southwest Houston proudly runs the highest Toyota service volume in Houston!
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality repairs efficiently and accurately, following dealership and factory standards
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostics, troubleshooting, and testing on automotive systems
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Road-test vehicles to verify successful repairs
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
- Provide timely updates to service advisors on repair status and estimated completion times for customer communication.
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving automotive technology
- Uphold company values in all interactions with customers, coworkers, and vendors
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of flat-rate (flagged) production experience in a dealership or independent shop environment is required
- ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification(s) or Toyota manufacturer-specific certifications (e.g., Toyota) are required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver license in the state that you will work and a good driving record
- Excellent customer service skills
- Professional appearance and work ethic
- Must pass background check, MVR, and drug screening
