Fleet Coordinator

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Fleet Coordinator to manage and support daily fleet operations. This role is responsible for ensuring our vehicles are properly maintained, compliant, and efficiently deployed across multiple locations throughout Florida. The ideal candidate will have basic mechanical knowledge, strong organizational skills, and a proactive, hands-on work ethic.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee daily fleet operations across multiple Florida locations
  • Monitor vehicle condition, maintenance schedules, and repair needs
  • Perform basic vehicle inspections and identify mechanical issues
  • Communicate with vendors, repair shops, and internal teams to ensure timely service and repairs
  • Track fleet inventory, registrations, insurance, and compliance requirements
  • Maintain accurate records, logs, and reporting using company systems
  • Assist with vehicle assignments, transfers, and logistics between locations
  • Ensure all vehicles meet safety and operational standards
  • Respond to fleet-related issues and emergencies as needed
  • Support cost control efforts by monitoring fuel usage, repairs, and overall fleet expenses
  • Basic mechanical knowledge of vehicles (ability to identify common issues)
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, fleet management systems, etc.)
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently to different locations across Florida
  • Ability to work extended hours, including a 50-hour workweek (and additional time as needed)

Work Environment

  • Frequent travel between job sites and fleet locations
  • May involve working outdoors and around vehicles in various weather conditions

Competitive Pay: $20-23/hour based on experience, full time, 50+ hours per week

Travel and hours: 50-75% travel to other offices needed- typical hours 7am-5pm.
