Floor Supervisor - Hotel Housekeeping [Central]

Location: Orchard

Working Hours: 5 days work week, shift required

Salary: Up to $3100 + aws + flexi benefit + staff meals

Join our Housekeeping team and play a vital role in ensuring every guest enjoys a clean, comfortable, and memorable stay. As a Floor Supervisor, you will oversee guest room operations, lead Room Attendants, and maintain exceptional housekeeping standards throughout assigned floors and guest areas.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Room Quality & Inspection

  • Conduct routine inspections of guest rooms, corridors, and assigned areas to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards are consistently achieved.
  • Verify room readiness and coordinate room status updates with Front Office to support efficient guest arrivals.
  • Monitor housekeeping quality standards, including room servicing and turndown operations.
  • Ensure guest privacy and security procedures are strictly followed at all times.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Supervise, guide, and motivate Room Attendants to deliver high-quality housekeeping services.
  • Provide coaching, training, and ongoing support to improve team performance and operational efficiency.
  • Allocate daily assignments and monitor productivity to ensure smooth operations.
  • Ensure team members maintain professional grooming, appearance, and service standards.

Operational Coordination

  • Liaise closely with Front Office, Engineering, and other departments to support seamless hotel operations.
  • Report maintenance defects and follow up on repair requests to ensure guestrooms remain in excellent condition.
  • Oversee housekeeping pantries, linen rooms, and storage areas to ensure cleanliness and organisation.
  • Ensure lost-and-found procedures are properly followed and documented.

Guest Service Excellence

  • Respond promptly to guest requests, special arrangements, and service concerns.
  • Resolve housekeeping-related issues professionally and efficiently to maintain guest satisfaction.
  • Support personalised guest experiences through attention to detail and proactive service.
  • Assist in maintaining a welcoming and comfortable environment for all guests.

Administration & Compliance

  • Complete room inspection reports, housekeeping records, and operational documentation accurately.
  • Monitor housekeeping standards and communicate relevant updates to management.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, safety regulations, and housekeeping procedures.
  • Maintain proper key control and uphold security protocols at all times.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in housekeeping operations within a hotel environment.
  • Previous supervisory experience is an advantage.
  • Good understanding of guest room standards, cleaning procedures, and housekeeping operations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and guest satisfaction.
  • Familiarity with hotel property management systems (PMS) is advantageous.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
  • Positive attitude with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
